A pretty appalling show from the BBC last night. The camera zoomed over the assembled throng in Parliament Square, Mr Farage was seen standing on stage, but where was his speech? Instead of him we got Emily Whatshername prattling on. Did any of the television companies offer a fitting tribute to this momentous occasion in this country’s history? It appears, once again, that the BBC just couldn’t bring itself to report as it should - honestly.

You're right, Naomi. It was a disgrace, a clear attempt to sour any feeling of joy for the majority of people in this country - those who have had to suffer years of abuse and disappointment - and for what? For the benefit of the miserable minority that took such delight in every setback we faced - and the broadcasters were never shy of showing the glee and...

Nothing wrong with the truth Emmie.
the truth according to you, but not to me.
And yet there you are on another thread moaning about having a benefit stopped - under whose government?
i wasn't moaning, merely stating a fact, the government has been forced to combine various benefits so far so good, but there are still teething problems with PIP.
//i bet that if someone had said that about Corbyn you would be up in arms//

Nope. Sorry Ems, I'm not precious about politicians and certainly not screamish about the use of a naughty word.

Far worse has been said about Corbyn in this hallowed forum in the past, often justified, often not so much. Also Corbyn and his frankly embarrassing lack of leadership is what cost Labour my votein December, on top of many other long time Labour supporters.

One last thing, if I complain about anything in AB, the usual response is that I'm called a snowflake. Just saying.
as i said i found the word you used offensive.
Although I have to be honest, the fact I'm getting support from Diddles is a bit of a worry to me.
because she agrees with you...
//As i said i found the word you used offensive//

Well, I apologise for that as it wasn't my intention. I was in all honesty intended as a joke.

Can i ask though, would you have been so offended had been used in regard to a Labour politician? Somehow i doubt if you would've been moved to admonish anyone calling a vocal remainer something similar.
i wouldn't say anyone was a cock, its not nice at all and am surprised it gets through the mods.
I also was a little surprised, I was expecting to get it starred out (but felt the joke would still have worked).

In a forum where s/o/d gets starred out, it seems weird that other words are allowed.
Anyway, enough of this potty language. My apology was sincere, and although I can't promise anything, I will attempt to correct my naughty swearing,
well its word that has various meanings, so it wasn't blipped.
ok..
The BBC has always been pro Europe.
Just by thankful I don't come from Scunthorpe.
so it would seem boaty
that wouldn't get through mozz
more twaddle from the usual suspects
I thought once we had freedo00000m ! we would also be free of the interminable prattling:

we can be free ! (and take rules from the EU and not make them)
and we will be free ! to legislate ( yeah the scots like that a lot!)
and we will retain the Pound wiv her majesty on it (er we always had it and it will worf piffle)
and we will be free and not have to pay NYTHING to the EU ever ! ( er like that 350m for the NHS? which we should never have raised as it the usual damned lie) ( and also Baaaarp! we go on paying until Dec actually and have NO say it where it goes - there's freedom for you!)

oh and we can have BLOO passports - oh Lord save us from Brexiteers ! well it is sunday

// The BBC has always been pro Europe...//
