Sir Philip Rutnam Resigns

I’m rather surprised no one has raised this ;-)
I don’t know whose side to take here other than to note that the Home Secretary is a proven liar ...
Which may or may not be relevant.
It also seems that the PM and the Cabinet Secretary had indeed intervened in this dispute, as so they ought.

He was briefing his chosen media sources all through the Brexit fiasco.......that is how they were able to prolong the scam. Now he is squealing like a stuck pig that he is being "briefed against". Another duplicitous snake that knows how to project his own underhand and immoral tactics onto any critic or likely opponent. Patel is our Jack Russel in the Home Office rat run.
It shouldn't come as news to anybody, that the next 10 months are going to be most critical, involving more difficult issues than any government has had to face since maybe WWII.
Rutnam & most of his team, have worked relentlessly against Brexit for the last 3 years & now it is inevitable, hope it will be a failure & by all accounts are still working to be unhelpful in carrying out the result.
The situation for no. 10 can be likened to a general fighting a battle with one or more malcontent officers trying to undermine the plan of battle & the objectives of the war.
No time for argument, drain the swamp Boris!

Found this tucked neatly away on the alternative web pages.
""A white, middle aged, middle class, public school educated, male member of the establishment doesn't like the fact his boss is an Asian, young, working class, state educated, female from an immigrant family.
Not whom you expect to be working for, when your parents send you to such a prestigious school as Dulwich College, to join such distinguished Alumnus as Nigel Farage - now if he had said some of the things that you have, he'd be called a racist. Are you a racist Phil? Remember your school motto Phil. Detur Gloria Soli Deo. It is not about your glory Phil.
Did I see some one mention that constructive dismissal was hard to prove? Not when all your mates are on the panel of judges it isnt........Another pay cheque in the post for Laydeee Hale. Kerching.

I rather like Priti Patel - she doesn't appear to take any siht and is forthright.
She's told the police they'll have their 20,000 extra officers, but she doesn't want any more moaning from them and wants to see a reduction in crime.
She got rid of the Jamaican criminals.
To all intents and purposes she's got rid of this chinless wonder.
Plus she's quite tasty.

For too long the journeymen fifth columnists have been able to get away with defying the people that we elect because they had the backing and encouragement to do so by the EUSSR. They were more than happy to let the gnomes in Brussels do their work and sign it off without a glance although they were betraying millions of us by taking a 40 year retirement position. Meanwhile out in the real World people are still being disciplined and even fired for deliberately opposing their managers or business owners. They are going to squeal and have tantrums.....this is but an opening salvo. The success, of the intention to drain the British swamp of traitors and self serving shy talks, is dependant on the rank and file people of Britain supporting our elected government. Do you support our elected representatives or the shadow rulers?
Pritti Patel is by miles a better Home Secretary than May ever was. She is bravely attempting to re-establish her Ministerial position as the dictator and not the dictated too. She seems to me a very strong and capable lady. Plus she's very attractive too. I would imagine that she will have to be wary of the many snakes, and duplicity merchants.
What we have is an immigrant Home Secretary who is more pro British that the so called British people who are appointed to work for her. All those Indian civil servants that we trained are now resurfacing to teach us what we taught them. :)) Rutman has put himself in a position where he has nothing to lose by resigning and doing a flounce and definitely nothing to gain by staying in situ. As ever though, like all abusers through the ages, he is now trying to justify his wicked behaviour by adopting the mantle of victimhood. They all think that they have a new "trick". Some of us have been watching for ever.
//Rutnam & most of his team, have worked relentlessly against Brexit for the last 3 years & now it is inevitable, hope it will be a failure & by all accounts are still working to be unhelpful in carrying out the result.//
Indeed. And his department is not alone. Virtually every senior Civil Servant has been opposed to Brexit from day one and have done all they can to thwart it. Now the game is up and they don’t like it up ‘em.

Quite so. In any other organisation, any senior manager or director who was unwilling to see the successful implementation of his company’s principle aim and objective would be swiftly shown the door. But these people have, for almost four years, obstructed and obfuscated to such a degree that that objective was almost lost. They’ve been allowed to continue in their posts, with enormous salaries and pensions which they could not hope to secure anywhere else with their limited skills and talents, secure in the knowledge that they were safe and sound from dismissal.
Boris and his team of Ministers are demonstrating who is in charge. And it’s not the likes of Sir Philip Rutnum and his fellow panjandrums. They can either accept the New Order or ship out.

..... Matt Hancock, the Health Secretary, said: "Priti is a very determined Home Secretary. She is probably closer to where the public are on the issues of law and order than any home secretary in recent history. I think she drives things forward."
Iain Duncan Smith said: "This is a fight the Government has to win, otherwise all her colleagues will be dead in the water. There is still a group of civil servants who don't believe in Brexit and don't follow that there are things we can do now that we've left the EU. Civil servants need to know they are there to carry out the policy wishes of the Government.".....
