I'm just pointing out that anyone who claims that most here "don't give a hoot about how Science works" are, objectively, not really here to discuss "science" when they do so. Anyone can draw the obvious conclusion from that: your criticism of the site policy isn't remotely to do with your wish to discuss "Science". Quite the reverse, in fact. If you genuinely wished to enhance the discussion in science you'd care about evidence, about reasoned debate, and about the value of expertise and experience. It's been for a long time manifest that you only care about those as a veil to hide behind when it suits you.
