On Sky just now with the shadow chancellor Anneliese Dodds, so no link, labour are calling for more facts and figures on the decisions being mad.

I totally agree with labour. The Government cannot just continue with the 'we and the so called experts' know better so we are not going to give you the exact reason we came to our actions.

Sir Kiers opportunity to shine here I think. I am sure I am not the only one to question the current Governments actions.

Supporting the government doesn't mean giving a rubber stamp to everything it does. It means helping it to fix any mistakes you think it's making. Here's an OP from someone who is very much not Labour, has been on Johnson's side for years, and *still* criticism is interpreted as "petty politics". Unbelievable.

A leading virologist has stated that just wearing a mask is not beneficial, it has to be worn correctly or it will do more harm than good. It therefore follows that you just cannot turn out millions of masks to suit everybody, children, for example, would obviously need smaller ones. There is also the problem like 3M shipped masks to Germany and because 3M is an American company, the shipment was rerouted to America. France has also complained they cannot get the items they need because America outbids everybody.
This is why I don't want anymore transparency, there's too many armchair experts that think they know better. I'll leave it to the powers that be, and only have Sky News on when the Grim reaper wants to now the death toll.

I won't wear one. Not until someone who knows what they are talking about tells me that I should, and I certainly wouldn't do it at the expense of frontline workers.
No shortage of Face Masks in Spain , the Police are giving them out free of charge.

What is the point of Great Britain wasting their time and money knocking up a basic sub standard mask that is useless to man and beast.China sent us a load of kit that was not issued because it was typical Chinese sub standard and ineffective. As the Medical Officer said with regard to Chinese testing kits," A bad testing kit is worse than no testing kit"
The only mask I would wear is the internationally approved mask with plastic filters. A piece of cotton that could serve as a hankie with four tapes sewn on it does not give adequate protection.
The best kit should go to the front line first otherwise a lot of us are unlikely to need them.
