That told me nothing at all, I waited and hoped you’d give us something ‘new’ yet everything you said, we’d been aware of already ......

//Us oldies should use our heads, I think. I shall remain doing what I have been doing for 7 weeks now. If I was fit and well I would go out and keep my distance.// Bob on Apc. Just told "she who must be obeyed" that we are freeee. First though I will buy two walking sticks(we do not need them) and wave them about aggressively if any git come near us when we are out and...

No. Hang on. I meant Druridge Bay Country Park.
People banging on about clarity.....there are so many variables, what ifs, what abouts etc it wouldnt be possible....

He and others have always sad it will be a gradual return to "normal", phases etc and tonights statement has borne that out...
what exactly do people expect , do you honestly think anybody else woud have handled it any differently, do any lefties or other persuasions really think if, thank god hes isnt, corbyn was in charge we'd be in a better place ?...

What would Sir Smarmier have done ?...Labour have an innate ability ruin the economy at the best of times, so in the current situation it really doesnt bare thinking of the consequences if they were "in charge " now...

Same as FELLMOOR park in Morpeth on the lake Chrissa1, wicked !
I am sitting here now wondering if I dare go to the coast tomorrow. We have a very low amount of covid cases this area and apparently the highest elderly population in the country. But a lot of people came down this weekend.
Question Author
I’d love to live nearer the coast , we are 13 miles away
A slightly tougher borders question is if you live in Scotland or Wales but work in England - should you cross the border to work and risk bringing the virus back home?

Also if you work in England, can't work at home and can't practise social distancing at work ... what then? Insist your employer provides PPE?
That's not far Bobbie! I think we are 9. I used to work on the coast and it took 20 mins. The roads are really quiet though. We usually go at least a couple of times a week and I have missed it.
Question Author
We stay there as much as we can APC
My daughter has informed me that she'll continue to work at home for a good while after lockdown eases. I'm so relieved.
I haven't read all the answers but I thought Boris's message encouraging. I can go to the coast now and walk by the sea. :o)
oh dear - further cases confirmed Germany Korea ( Beeb tonight)
Mozz, I can visualize you scrolling up and down the screen as you type my answer into the reply box! Luv it!!
:o)
See what I mean? Lots of ifs, buts and maybes. Nobody knows, folks! Nobody knows!
Nah 10cs, It's a copy and paste job! Unfortunately I pasted it, then had a brain fart and pressed answer instead of next line lol
I thought it was a good speech. I think the people complaining about it are the ones that had already decided that they were going to complain about it as soon as they heard it was happening.
One thing I did not agree with was saying that people could drive to places to take exercise. This means small villages in places like the Lake District, Peak District etc will now be inundated, and there's nothing they will be able to do about it.
Unfortunately you guys in England you guys have Boris The buffoon leading you. He’s cowtowing to financial sector in asking workers to go back if they can’t work from home. Big mistake. He should be reprimanding the dorks having get togethers in London parks.
Our Nicola has the sous to To ask Scotland to stay in lock down for a few weeks more. Good on her!.
There's no good end to all of this.

It will be a charnel house before it's over, they're just debating the 'optics'.
