That told me nothing at all, I waited and hoped you’d give us something ‘new’ yet everything you said, we’d been aware of already ......
Pleased he’s increased the fines to those that think they’re immune !

//Us oldies should use our heads, I think. I shall remain doing what I have been doing for 7 weeks now. If I was fit and well I would go out and keep my distance.// Bob on Apc. Just told "she who must be obeyed" that we are freeee. First though I will buy two walking sticks(we do not need them) and wave them about aggressively if any git come near us when we are out and...

//He’s cowtowing to financial sector in asking workers to go back if they can’t work from home.//

What's it got to do with the financial sector? The economy is not just rich people that work in the city of London, it's ordinary people that need to work to pay their bills. The government (ie he taxpayer) can't pay everyone's bills indefinitely.
Unfortunately you guys in England you guys have Boris The buffoon leading you. He’s cowtowing to financial sector in asking workers to go back if they can’t work from home. Big mistake. He should be reprimanding the dorks having get togethers in London parks.
Our Nicola has the sous to To ask Scotland to stay in lock down for a few weeks more. Good on her!.

Everything hunky-dory in Scotty land then, Bravehearted?
Last time I looked, Boris is the PM of the UK, YOUR Nicola isn't.

(I don't like it when numpties presume to speak for me, they sure as heck don't)
Did he say that anyone arriving in this country by plane would have to be quarantined? What about those arriving by boat, he didn't say.
What about those arriving by boat, he didn't say.

Depends if it's an inflatable that's come across the channel !
^^^ Ha ha this must be the reason we have to stay alert. If you go down to the beach stay alert and watch for inflatable boats with lots of people on them. :-)
Especially in the Dover area, Barsel ;-)
//watch for inflatable boats with lots of people on them//

Then report them for not socially distancing!
I just want to know when i can hug my family again???
probably sooner than you think Darcey

Some people think they can. Whether Bravehearted is one of those people I couldn't possibly say.
Darcey - I'd be happy just to see my family again - the hugs can come later.
The relaxed rules allow you to drive to a park and sit on the grass. What's to stop both you and a family member/friend from another household driving to the same park and sitting 2m apart?
That's how the hanky-panky starts, bhg.
This whole idea of sitting in the park with one person from another household is stupid when you think about it. If I want to see my son, DIL and 2 grandchildren, are we supposed to go to the park and take it in turns to sit with just one of them in turn so that by the end of the afternoon we've spent time 6 feet away from each of them? Bonkers.
Each household group sits 2m from any other household group; where's the problem?
I think some people look for problems where they don't exist, bhg, just to have dig or whinge
FF - your one, short sentence sums it up beautifully.
Diddly just looking for problems. "Darcey - I'd be happy just to see my family again - the hugs can come later". She can see them and still complaining. I for one am happy that at least we are now able to see them and not just via a phone. It's a start.
Do you think there will be a specific announcement about Garden Centres or are they covered by the ‘go back to work if you can’ statement?
