The President cleared the room when he admitted taking hydroxychloroquine.
He had also found a doctor to prescribe it
and MY question is : if a relative did that and died - would you complain to the authorities ( GMC and courts here ) that the doctor had NOT acted in the patients ( your relative that is!) best interests and should pay you ( the estate ) much moolah and lose his licence
Note to help posters - hydroxyChlor does NOT have a licence to be used in warding off covid

Watching the clip, he says it was the White House doctor who has prescribed it for him. The doc didn't suggest he took it, and I wonder if he even told POTUS about it's dangerous side effects of taking it for anything other than malaria. He also states that many 'front line workers are taking it.
The thing is, if The Donald comes to no harm, he will say it worked. and that he was right all along.
As for claiming compo, Michael Jackson's doc did time for doing as bid by his lord and pay-master general.

Danny; "Can't imagine any doctor in the US refusing to supply any medication requested by his president...…" That's why I made reference to MJ. The rich and powerful will always find someone willing to leap to their every command. The consequences being loss of job (+ loads of moolah) should they not do so.

Yes, it can be dangerous to people with heart conditions or people self dosing (overdosing) So can every tablet in your medicine cabinets. (read the instruction leaflets).

Or perhaps the posts mocking D.Trump and condemning HCQ from the above experts will remain.

One of Exeter’s first Covid-19 patients to take part in the Recovery trial says there is still no way of knowing whether or not her recovery was aided by Hydroxychloroquine.
She said that she has no idea whether some of the symptoms she experienced, and her recovery, were due to the infection or were side-effects of the drug.
She went on to say “Until they get more people through the trial they will not know. That’s the point of the study.”

You say the the FDA have 'sanctioned the use of 31,000,000 doses in the US'.
I've been to their website, and I'm not seeing what you're seeing.
The FDA states:
