Maybe. Not a good ad for disadvantaged black people.
Well it was a bit wanky,,,
all they are doing is creating racism, they are making people hate them. Any understanding that was developing is now dissipating, I fear for the future.
//all they are doing is creating racism//

As if it never existed,,
LOL!
If we judge everything with today's willingness to be offended, and spineless lickspittles cave-in so readily to appease the permanently offended, then there's very little content from the past that will survive.

Fawlty Towers was 45 years ago, and some of the things mentioned on this thread are even older, but there's much more recent stuff that is in the crosshairs of these idiots. Gavin and Stacey has been cited as being racist, sexist and fatist (no, me neither), Ant & Dec have stupidly made an apology for the perfectly innocent things that they did...and so it appears it will go on (although good on Harry Enfield for refusing to do so).

I think Last of the Summer Wine will be safe - but as that was so achingly unfunny anyway, who cares.
ozzy, they are creating more of it, geddit?
//faulty towers episode pulled over racism...the day humour died. //

Aye “ all cricketers are n****rs” is the most humorous line ever
What about fools an horses...
"Jurin the war"
Alf Garnet
Michael Bates-Last of the Summer Wine played an Indian in IAHHM.

It will have to go, I'm afraid.
Unfortunately, 'Deskdiary', your last sentence sort of renders your 'beef' irrelevant. There are those who will find the programmes listed to be as "achingly unfunny" as LOTSW. So who cares?
Without intending to, I think you've given the 'spineless lickspittles' permission to continue.
“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”

George Orwell, 1984

Be careful what you wish for.
That's the guide book for half the rissoles on this site, Naomi.

I have family in Warrington and my cousin has just texted me to say that the Oliver Cromwell statue, which is a sight to behold, is being considered for removal as a petition is doing the rounds to get rid of it. It's an amazing statue and I share her utter disbelief and annoyance. She is going to complain to the Council, but somehow I think it's a done deal. Have we lost the plot??
Yep. Bet they've not read it though.
^That to Spicerack.
get it right steg

"If Stomzy wants to hand over his cash to those causes then that is fine by me."
