oh
allo allo sold well in Germany
( only comedy ever about an occupation )
Anyone fancy a bet on what's next?

My money's on It Ain't 'Half Hot Mum, because of Michael Bates' Rangi.

Or thick Irish Priests in Father Ted.
At this rate we will be confined to nights in with repeats of 'The Kumars at No 42' and 'East is East' for the rest of our miserable lives.
I'm beginning to understand what White Flight is all about. I'll emigrate to the Dining Room.
This farcical nonsense is going viral. Could it be another debilitating symptom of Covid?
Deffo It Ain't Half Hot Mum and most probably Dad's Army.
Dammit, I need to stockpile Goon Shows. Spike won't survive this cull with all the black and Asian characters he played. (Although Ray Ellington did most of the black voices)
Spike was brilliant at playing an Asian.
How about Al who desperately wished to visit his mother:
Goodness Gracious Me. What about Peter as well.?
In my book Tony, the funniest man I've ever heard. At his best, he made me laugh to the point of pain.
Hardly surprising since he was born in India, growing up in Pune (now best known for call centres and outsourcing) and Rangoon, and spoke fluent Urdu.
Well, I'm not sure The Millionairess is shpwn much anyway, due to Sellers' Indian MD. Probably curtains for Mickey Rooney and Breakfast At Tiffanys too.
Mozz, did you ever see him playing the Asian guy on the train in 'Till Death Do Us Part' it was hilarious.
There's something offensive in everything if you look hard enough.

I don't recall it Tony, I'll see if it's on youtube. Now I'm thinking of the Pakistani Dalek from Q. :-D
Mozz, Look for holiday in Bournemouth.

Yep
Eventually, Humpty Dumpty will be a gonna since he is always depicted as a white egg.
The Man That Would be King ,one of my favourite stories, will no doubt be found offensive. The funniest part was Michael Caine kicking the Babu ,who was spitting his melon pips over the carriage, out the moving train door, and carrying on his conversation with Rudyard Kipling as if nothing happened.
Good film that, retrocop.
