Just got home from an afternoon BBQ with friends (shhh - don't tell Dibble) so am 'with beer', so my only contribution, which frankly isn't going to be worth much, is that every single person who attended today, and I couldn't give a tinker's cuss about left or right, is a total scumbag.

I see earlier in the thread somebody referred to BLM as fascists; one of the definitions of fascist is 'reactionary and dictatorial' - from what I've seen and heard, that sounds about right.

The biggest thing that has got on my tits about this whole absurd situation, is that the UK is NOT a racist country. It just isn't. Yes, without question, there are racists in the country, but there are in every country (whisper it, because it doesn't fit in with the current narrative, but there's black on white racism in Africa - look at the expropriation without compensation of the farms of white farmers in RSA.
