so I thought I would remind you
what do ABers think? - my own surprise is the speed at which the police conduct dept acted, why it was put on internet media without complaint
and why the body cameras were not showing they were on - so the only film is viral on the internet
oh and the editor has asked me to point out that the sunny Sun report that one explained " I was only taking the knee" is completely untrue - he said something else

I expect the restraint technique was used a century ago, but no longer for obvious reasons.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m struggling to see anything wrong in what the copper did to restrain a potentially violent thug, but I hate with a passion the ‘Enoch was right’ argument because it supposes that all black people are a problem, and they are not, and I find it a fundamentally racist thing to say.

or even show I have read the post before blaarting BUT....
a) white supremacy argts are always wrong
b) what the p;liceman did was right ( in yr opinion)
c) therefore it cant be a white supremacy matter
d) he was black and a problem but that of course does not imply that every one black is always a problem. the end
I think b is not valid as he was handcuffed
also it is said that one PC gets up and explains on camera why and what he was doing - which shows (IMO) that the man was not a restraint problem

It appears to be acknowledged that kneeling on the neck of a restrained individual is not correct practice, so the officer should be disciplined for his behaviour.
It is obvious to anyone with a basic grasp of anatomy that kneeling on someone's neck can easily have fatal consequences - the neck is full of delicate bones and blood supplies, the disruption of which can lead to paralysis or death.
It is far to easy for the kneeler to lose their balance and place their full body weight on the restrained individual with catastrophic consequences, and it should never be seen as acceptable behaviour.
