it is not sub judice so we can say what we will like to be honest - a judge even said twitter discussion wasnt really contempt of court - which surprised me = see first sentence
the other thread is now pretty thread-bare with all the usual suspects saying the usual things, goading each other to say even stupider gormless outrageous things.
think of a prayer meeting - or one of the churches who handle snakes. I have no idea why jury nobbling should be referred to the AG.
it should and can and was dealt with at the time. The judge does some shouting, threatens to close the gallery and calls the police in. They look (looked) severe as we trooped in an out. (another case)
some of the defendants family milled around the court entrance ( as I staggered down the steps rather obviously visually impaired ) and the defence barrister in court dress ( really ? that is NOT the custom) told them they had to disperse.
