Ignoring the personal spats, in answer to the OP....No, Boris is fit for nothing and certainly not fit for government or PM.

Perhaps Dom has told his FIL , something that we don't know
When Johnson was self isolating, No 10 down played just how ill he was, and portrayed him as strong and in charge. He wasn’t, he had to be rushed to hospital in a IC unit.
It wouldn’t surprise me if they are covering up an on-going health problem.
Gulliver//Of course Cummings is deputy p/m,//
Don't you realise how idiotic you posts are?

// [Next Prime Minister] It certainly ain't Steer Calmer is it? //

Starmer and been leader for a month when he overtook Boris in a YouGov poll of who should be running the country.
-- answer removed --
Gromit , Starmer is just one man in the Labour Party
//However when it comes to economic competence and whether Labour has the ability to run the economy, 42 per cent said they favoured Mr Johnson and Chancellor Rishi Sunak over Sir Keir//
Gulliver, can you keep any further posts relevant to the OP.
Gromit: "Starmer and been leader for a month when he overtook Boris in a YouGov poll of who should be running the country. " - was that the the same public that a few months prior had kicked Labour's April from earholes to breakfast time?
Question Author
No doubt about it Sir Keir has certainly got the Blues. running scared.

13.20 Danny , can you keep any further insults to yourself please , and try to obey Site Rules .ok.
Tora,
It was. Shows how fickle the voting public is. Johnson had been Prime Minister for less than 6 months, and the public thought Starmer would be a better PM.
But what matters is what they think in 4 years time.

Oh, my! That's rich. Pots and kettles in abundance.
well with all the covid cobras open goals etc, Labour still can't hit the back of the net, oh dear GE tomorrow? Boris wins again!

With a reduced majority Tora. The gap is closing!
Thanks for that link TTT.

The Government currently have an 80 seat majority, and according to your link that would be reduced to 30.
A win is a win. But losing 50 seats after 8 months is hardly an endorsement, especially with 4 years to go.
gromit, yes, losing 50 is not good, but as you well know the government has been inflicted with all the faeces that's been flying over Covid, as any incumbent government would be. I'll take -50 at this stage with over 4 years to get back to where we were. I'd still bet on on a Tory majority in 2024.
Gromit , They haven't lost any seats. It is only an [i]opinion{i] poll.
Question Author
13.51 Gromit are you for real , 50 seat loss in only 8 Months, bet thats knocked the wind out of the Dyed in the woolies , on A/B, OMG.
Gulliver. See post at 13.57.
