I think, wisely, the whole Jacob Blake shooting has been ignored here. There was too much friction caused by previous shooting discussions here, no need to add to them. I can't see any opinions beong altered by this event.

it's in america not the u.k, why are peope interested in american shootings..it's a continent pop 328.2 million, america has a serious crime problem.. with guns aplenty, may as well ask how many people got shot in brazil india africa..? nothing to do with us.

yes and its gonna get worse but what about all the other shootings in the states, its a gun culture country and in the constitution it does say "the right to bear arms" i believe but theres never reports and figures come out about civilian shhoting when the colour is the other way round

I am sure I pointed out that the surname Rittenhouse was the name used for the trans-time ( yeah across the ages!) conspiracy in a sub Dr who american series called timeless.

Folk are possibly rested in American shootings for at least 2 reasons. One dislikes unfair treatment of another human being, especially violent treatment, so thinks folk should be aware. And these American incidents result in global dissatisfaction and inappropriate & undesirable protests, and trouble, in their own country.

The Americans need to sort out their racial issues, pronto. And that will need all sides determined to make an effort and be reasonable in both discussions and subsequent action.
