It's quite understandable that a register of those refusing the vaccine should be kept and maintained for the benefit of the whole world. Lets hope all other nations follow suit.

It won't need to be policed. If your name is on the list those who need to know will simply look at the list.

I don't see the point of a central register. It will not be available to Joe Public and will only be visible to the police, the politburo and their staff. The Sex Offenders' Register is the same - nobody can see it. The only information available to the public from it is when a parent, guardian or carer wants information on a named person ("Sarah's Law"). All the Register does is to impose additional responsibilities on those on it to notify the authorities if they move, etc.

So it would be if this were introduced here. It would serve no practical purpose., would cost a fortune, wouldn't work properly and would be quietly ditched (like most IT projects the government tries to implement).

as I have said, using electronic records, its easy enough to know who has had the vac and who hasn't because the info is already recorded. I really cannot see "no vac. no bus/train ride" being enforceable...just imagine the riots at stations or bus stops.

bus drivers don't always ask about wearing a mask, so don't see them asking to see a vac card. Nor i am sure would railway staff, imagine as you said the riots that could ensue

Eventually technology will catch up, just move the card reader/ bus pass to the outside, doors don't open until you use your pass....

TCL maybe but weren't they overwhelmed when people rushed to go home at the stations before London went into teir 4. I remember seeing footage of the chaos at St Pancras station.

I`m not sure what the Spanish are doing will even impact on the UK anyway. As with most data, it can only be shared within the EU and we are not part of that anymore.
