Sunk, not the same countries. Great Britain consists of England, Scotland and Wales. The UK consists of those countries plus Northern Ireland.

Then there is this petition for the UK to trigger it.

The country you live in is “United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland”. Anything that happens within the UK is within the same country.

England is a geographical area within our designate country.
