Mother = Birthing parent! Breast feeding = Chest feeding! For gawds sake how far are we expected to go to accommodate these people?

Well, for starters, I'd suggest that they don't appear to have a right to equal dignity in healthcare settings, since people here clearly think it's more appropriate to argue about a person's gender identity rather than focus on their medical needs.
Seems to me it's the medical profession who are fussing about gender identity.
Not true. They not only have equal healthcare- and often more- you can get a sex reassignment on the NHS... they also *as I've personally pointed out, several times now ☆ get extra unnecessary and impossible treatment, to save feeling.
This is not about focusing on medical care, only women have babies (would you disagree with that?). But they are getting treatments that they literally don't need.

Thank you, Jim, that was very helpful. As I suspected, Piers Morgan is completely misrepresenting the situation and TTT has fallen for it, as have many others, it seems, who would prefer to guess at a policy rather than actually read it.

The guidance below is for the production of documents, protocols and communications. It should also be used when discussing pregnancy, birth and parenting at a population level (for example, at meetings, study days or antenatal parent education).

Please note that these language changes do not apply when discussing or caring for individuals in a one-on-one capacity where language and documentation should reflect the gender identity of the individual. When caring for cis women it is good practice to use terminology that is meaningful and appropriate to the individual; this may include terms such as woman, mother or breastfeeding.
There is no such thing as "ciswomen".
The term ‘cis woman’ is not meaningful to me. That’s a label that’s been applied to me without consultation and without my consent by people who don’t know their proverbial *** from their elbow! That offends me so I would expect Jim to fight my corner here.
It apparently means a person who agrees their gender matches their sex. I'm female, so I have no choice but to "identify as a woman". Because I am one... I can't choose it. I do wear jeans, put up shelves and all sorts of "masculine" things, but that has never changed my sex....
Jim: // Who knows? But, more to the point, why does it matter? Their body, their choice. //

Because it's illogical Captain.

As to rights, no I will not stand up for a group which seeks to trample on the hard-won rights of another group to achieve its aims. Why do their 'rights' trump mine and those of all women?

Question Author
What Tee F is a "ciswoman" ?
Question Author
12:34, so a "ciswoman" is a.... woman! PMSL So is my dog a CisJackRussell? You couldn't make it up!
'Cis' is one example of how trans activists use language in order to suit their own agenda. I am a woman. There is no need for further definition.
see the response 2 above yours TTT
It is a stupid attempt to be clever. In Latin cis means this side of, whereas trans means the other side of. It is linguistic nonsense.
Question Author
so 99% of women have had a prefix added to them! Right oh!
Basically, yes, ttt. Nobody knows what I "identify" as. Just as nobody knows how a stranger does. How could you tell?
//You couldn't make it up!//

CIS is just a general term. Someone whose birth sex and indentified gender match. Why is that such a stretch of the imagination?
Question Author
Mozz, generally the default does not need a prefix.
Mozz, because nobody's does. Gender is a set of stereotypes. And the vast majority of people don't want or need to be labelled. Nowadays, you get male cooks and female mechanics. It's perfectly acceptable.
Nobody can honestly say their sex is not the same as their gender. Unless you wish to go back to the old-fashioned stereotypes, we have come a long way to get out of?
Question Author
so do we have cisgeezers as well then?
No it is not. It is a misappropriation of a Latin word used entirely out of context. Why do you need a word anyway? If you're not a 'trans' woman you are a woman.
