I'm not a particular fan of Piers M. and I don't watch Gmtv, but I do pick up what he says and I am disturbed, to say the least, that a non-conformist voice is being silenced. Freedom of speech is essential in a healthy society - even if it offends - mind/opinion control beckons and that way opens the door to totalitarianism and intolerance.
bobbi, I have watched them from 06:30 hrs and PM and AB were equally over talking each other. Piers walked off set in the early part of their "debate" but returned for 07:00 hrs onward. No wonder the BBC weather presenters stick to their sole task.
//I won't miss Piers Morgan, but I don't understand why he should leave the show.//
It's his decision. He walked away. Seems like he couldn't handle the fall out from his comments. If it was someone else, he'd probably be calling them a snowflake.
I agree with Mozz....having a hissy fit couldn't happen to a finer man (swallows hard). C4 News are like Labradors rolling in bird or cow *** over this - on at the moment.....
Let me put it this way, bobbi, Piers seemed unhappy to accept AB's statement that he (PM) had enjoyed a relationship with Meghan until Meghan cut ties with him. Piers later explained that there had been no relationship other than meeting her a few times and that it was fine by him that she had shut him down. AB seemed to resent that Piers now always had it in for Meghan.
Bobbi, here's the exchange. I don't think it differs from most of Piers' interviews, other than Alex wasn't going to be bulliwd by him. Mountains out of molehills.
Gulliver when will you realise no one takes any notice of your boring stuff about Boris Johnson , take you unhealthy obsession somewhere else will you !
