Because the most important thing here (and on any other similar thread) is the story, and the possibility of debating it, not you holding your little grudges against whoever posted it. I believe Boris was cleared of any impropriety in giving this woman £126k of public money – now we know that he was shagging her, perhaps the matter needs looking at again.

If I had the ability (as part of my job) to award a contract of over £100k and it was found that I had awarded such a contract to my lover, I would not expect to remain in my job.

But the rules of integrity/honesty that apply to me, do not apply to our political leaders.

I very much doubt that Carrie is shocked as this is old news and I'm sure she knew a lot about his past when they met.
