Surprised that a former PM acted in such a cavalier manner when he knew full well the risks of exposure. You really would think he'd know better.

Mr Cameron has suffered from the same affliction that occurs with the status of high power - the belief that anything is acceptable. Of course he has been exposed on this occasion, and found to have acted inappropriately, although not illegally. Because no law has been broken, an enquiry will simply reiterate that, there may be a tightening of the rules,...

Boris said " I honestly can not remember the last time I spoke to David Cameron" when being asked questions about the Greensill affair . I think he is telling lies again . Great big Blue ones.
Why do you think he is telling lies then Gulliver. It is a known fact that they don't like each other.
He might have e-mailed or had text conversations but not actually spoken to Cameron for some time.
Boris has no reason to speak to Cameron or even contact him. He's yesterday's man.
I bet some people on here, still believe in Father Christmas.
No answer to that as usual then gulliver. Try backing up something for a change instead of just putting rubbish on that you hope will get a reaction. You must be very lonely to come on here just to get someone to talk to you and believing in father christmas never did anyone any harm. Maybe even you did at one time.
unlike you, who seems to believe in almost nothing.
that was to Gulliver
Wonder if Cameron and Johnson ever talk about the good old days when they were in the Bullingdon Club and the "Pig - gate" scandal.
There is no love lost between Johnson and Cameron - they hate each others guts.
Johnson would not hesitate to throw Cameron under the wheels of the bus, except the collateral damage would hurt the Conservative Party as a whole.

What we are seeing and experiencing is the result of winning a large majority. It happened to Thatcher’s Government, and then Blair’s. The politicians feel entitled and untouchable with the country backing them so conclusively. It makes the cocky and arrogant.
Sunk'@ 10. 49 , you mentioned Thatcher in you post. Bad language will not be tolerated on A/B.
nor Blair come to think of it.
how did Blair manage to accrue so much money and particularly a massive property portfolio?
he's reputed to be worth upwards of 60 million, from lowly beginnings, ha ha Labour yeh right.
Blair didn't come from lowly beginnings.
This is a return to "Tory Sleaze" but I suppose that was inevitable as soon as Boris and his Cronies got their mucky little hands on the reigns.
that was tongue in cheek Naomi, Labour man ha
Boris has no reason to speak to Cameron, or even contact him @ 9.52, correct!! not when he can send his lapdog Matt and have a cosey drink with David, and report back.
no comeback on Blair then, yesterdays man maybe, but i bet he has his nose in the trough.
// [Blair] is reputed to be worth upwards of 60 million //

That is very wide of the mark. He admits to £10million in the bank and his property is estimated to be worth £10 million. He says he has given away £10 Million in the last 10 years.
Blair has not done anything illegal or dodgy. But he has worked on behalf of some dubious countries, such as the oil rich Kazakhstan.
