Isn't Boris right when he says the general public don't give a toss about how it's re-furbished?
Isn't this the MSM (& Starmer) trying to make something out of nothing?

To return to my original point - as Boris is only a temporary resident in No 10, why spend shed-loads of dosh on it, never mind where the money actually came from?
Diddly // as Boris is only a temporary resident//
He has at least another three years and probably longer.
no one knows how long they will be there for, he could effectively be there till 2024, or longer, if all being well they win the next GE and he stays.
Isn't he in No 11?
OK No 11. He could be out pretty soon if many of his own party lean on him hard enough. And then there's the little matter of the Public Inquiry re the Covid pandemic out of which he will emerge with his tail between his legs and any credibility in tatters.
Quite right ummm,Rishi Sunak is in the smaller flat in no. 10 and seemingly he has paid for the re decoration of that flat.
i spent an inordinate amount on my flat, professional decorators did most of the work, i chose the colours, and obviously some nice furniture. The fact remains that one has to live, socialise in that flat, and he will want to do that presumably, previous PM's have done their makeovers, why all of a sudden do they pick up on what Boris has done with it. Because the knives are out and won't be going back anytime soon.
yes he is in No. 11
When the present motley crew get turfed out. The new temp res will find the decor uninspiring.
has anyone actually seen the decor?
As usual Gulliver is spreading false news.Boris has declared that he will provide the Commission with anything that they may require.
Yes, I've just looked at it. It's hideous.
i guess its their taste, not everyone thank heavens has to live with it.
you are right ummmm its awful. but i don't, like the rest of the country have access to it, i would have gone for more muted colours.
It does look like a Peruvian house of ill repute, but you can never account for other people's taste.
no one can't danny, peruvian brothel, do they have such things i wonder....
This is starting to read like a bad rerun of 'Changing Rooms'.
I'm amazed at how many on here seem to have detailed knowledge of the decor in various nations' Brothels.
