The point being that a country buckling under the weight of a health emergency while literally swimming in its own waste has no business reaching for the stars. It's an utter obscenity and no amount of puffed up outrage from right-on advocates for advancement will change that fact. Fix the basics then you can go out and play.
no its the poor dying in the streets, these are visions of hell, people lying in cars, ambulances, on the roadway, waiting to be seen by a doctor, nurse, just to get help. If this happened here there would be a riot.
How much is UK giving to India?
The UK is to hand over £98m to India despite the country - which has spent almost the same on a lunar probe - now giving out more foreign aid than it receives. As part of the UK's aid budget, the Department for International Development (DfID) will give £52m this year and a further £46m in 2019/20.
perhaps if some read the threads i said that we have been helping India - and now we should supply them withthe oxygen and PPE which seem in short supply.
this is a disaster that's been on the cards for India, what are the government of India doing for their people, because they are the ones who should be doing their utmost for their people. Help should be given i don't doubt, i have said so twice, im not saying it again.
There is noone on thehis thread who said we shouldn't help. Emmie is correct. People should read through properly and that includes my OP. But thats expected from a certain person who has limited intelligence.
if you ever google gulliver, which i very much doubt, there doesn't appear to show what we are still giving by way of aid to India, and seeing as how already pointed out, they are fast becoming one of the richest countries in the world. Of course that money doesn't trickle down seemingly to outlying areas of the country, i already said that the poor are likely majority of the country.
