The football one is a trial to prepare for opening things up. Thought youd have been keen with that idea. It was outdoors too, Also werent they NHS workers so would of been vaccinated already. Was there also some testing unlike for funerals?

If we'er all just patient and follow the rules and stop pointlessly trying to find faults the roadmap is clear and we'll be out of it sooner.

No fear of a fresh wave, the old and vulnerable have been vaccinated, remember that? Meaning there's little chance of them being seriously ill if they do get it. Why is this not mentioned when people go on about a so called fresh wave? I despair at people's paranoia.

people's paranoia is well founded, we have 130 thousand give or take who have died in this pandemic, India is now faced with a monumental crisis.
we could have people coming back from India after seeing family and not isolating who could well bring it back with them. The elderly, vulnerable are still dying, but not in such great numbers admittedly.

No emmie, not in such great numbers at all. In fact the average number of daily Covid deaths in April is 27.

The population of India has near enough trebled in the last 50 years (550m in 1971, 1.4bn now). A month or so ago they were all to be seen hugging each other and paddling together in the putrid River Ganges (which is best avoided at all times because being eaten by a crocodile is one of the more pleasant ways of ending your days by venturing into it) It is little wonder they have problems with the pandemic but their government seemed unconcerned about it a month ago so I don't see why our government should concern itself now.

Not that I follow football at all, but over the last 2 weeks or so, football yet again takes over the real problems we have. The problem I believe was something to do with the big money teams branching out on their own, I'm sure you know what I mean even if I don't. However the problem, ( if it ever was one) seems to have been put right over night, and the whole idea put to bed, but what do you see days after, prats with an excuse to carry on protesting outside the football grounds involved,. Looking for a fight with the police no doubt?

Yes I've had a look at that picture and it just goes to emphasize my point. I'm a pensioner and I could have tackled that bloke and yet we have a woman being paid a lot of money just to end up crying with a cut bonce.
Women are not as strong as men so there shouldn't be equal pay in the police force etc, because they can't do as good a job as a man.

and you could say that police work is in the majority about negotiation and as women are in general better at that, they should get paid more than police men

The women officers should try negotiating with a crowd of tanked up yobs causing mayhem on the High Street on a Saturday night, emmie. The people peacefully going about their business then do not want "negotiation". They want enforcement. Women have their place in the police force (sorry, "service") but there are some things that require a few burly blokes to do.
