Morning, Emmie. I'm hoping it will be a nice weekend. Little one is having a sleepover on Saturday night so I can take OH out for his birthday.

I've come to the realisation that I'm not going to go abroad this year so I've changed my November holiday to Tenerife (7days) to 11 nights in Corfu in September 2022.

Fingers crossed the pandemic will have died down then.

Yes, back in the office today and little one is at nanny and granddad's. He fell over yesterday on their driveway and scuffed his nose (the site of blood and upset made his granddad sick) and then last night he had another accident when he was trying to throw the toilet roll down the stairs ... he lost his footing and fell down the stairs. OH took some calming down after that happened but luckily he wasn't hurt.

so where are you going to take the o/h for dinner, and did you get him a gift after all.

Little one is okay, daft little b.ugger. OH was in bits though. We both heard the accident (it sounded worse than it was because there's no carpet on the stairs).

I haven't even got him a card yet. I'll have to nip to the shops after work.

We've actually got two bookings for Saturday - one local and one a short drive away.

Have you got any nice plans for the BH weekend?

meet up with friends hopefully, at least one of the days, probably at the local for a drink and a chat. if the weather does hold, will saunter around to local garden and have al fresco lunch...

I think I'm just going to give him the money, Emmie. I know he'll be disappointed if I don't.

He fetched his new Tag yesterday and he was like a kid on Christmas Day.

its nice at the moment, and the forecast is somewhat better than it has been.

nice watch, i know you said it was around 4k, only to be worn on special occasions i would have thought.

That's what it retails at, Emmie, but he got a very good discount on it.

I think he got lucky and got the last one available.
