one thing I have often noticed is that opinion disappears when it is challenged by asking for the opinionee to put some bees where their the north and south is. Now the Vulnerable (those that want it) have been vaccinated there should be no reason why a full lockdown is implemented. Areas where the inhabitants have wholesale refused vaccination could be locked down if it is causing stress on the local hospitals - and that includes air travel for them too!

Expect to see many other 'variants' being touted to scare people though. SAGE and others who are enjoying this control a bit too much wont want to let go that easily and neither will the MSM.

If I was a betting man, which I’m certainly not, then as things stand at the moment I’d back “yes the unlocking - or complete easing more accurately - will end”

But the news about Portugal coming off the green list confirms my idea that there’s a lot of uncertainty about.

It is 50/50 what they do. The vaccines are good against the variants so i guess, and hope, they may keep the opening up date as planned.

I have every confidence in Johnson to get the worse possible result.

Before Christmas he told every one they could visit their friends and relatives and stay overnight for 5 days. As Christmas got nearer it became apparent that the scheme was foolhardy and a danger to public health. Johnson modified the advice to they could visit for 1 day, but people had already travelled so came too late.

I suspect most places will fully ease lockdown on June 21st but not all. There will be a limited number of places where a tier will operate.
