How many Abers think the UK will be unlocked on July 19th ?.

What does "unlocked" mean? A return to pre-covid conditions, no mask wearing, no plastic screens, packed restaurants & pubs, no restrictions at cinemas/theatres/sports venues. I can't see that happening this year.

Why is it that when I put a comment on about one of gulliver's posts that douglas calls me a stalker yet he follows gulliver on just about every post he puts on and agrees with him on just about everything then that is fine. He follows him like a little sheep. I put answers that are my opinion and if anyone disagrees with then that is fine by me. But I do not stalk or follow him around. Most of the stuff he puts on he will not discuss so sometimes I ask for a reply which most of the time he either can't or wont answer. I have posted on here for many years mostly about DIY and that type of thing to help and only got to posting on things political during brexit when I put my opinions on. So douglas if you have a problem with me or my answers then feel free to discuss them with me. I am easy to talk to.

Shedman, I’ve always found you to be very polite and definitely not a stalker , politeness is in very sort supply when discussing Gulliver, he’s rude to most people and must top the leader board for removed answers

Thank you Bobbi. It was only during Brexit that I started answering political questions when people like gulliver started putting on unsubstantiated things and then refusing to give an answer to them. I am much happier really talking about DIY or travel and yes I miss my hols as you do.

The truth is Boris can only blame himself for the Indian variant coming to UK. He Cancelled his own Trade talk trip to India in April, but still let the Indians into UK.
Not a good decision for a leader of a Country.

yeah but no but - whose to say the Indian variant didn't originate somewhere else (maybe in the UK) was transmitted to India by a traveller where it was found & labelled.

Highly unlikely Dave. I believe the Delta version was imported. It was first identified in India.

it's unlikely to have been kept out of the UK unless the government imposed 100% closure and a new first-wave-style lockdown, the variant is so infectious.

Well, I had planned to go to a memorial service on July 18th, but it aint gonna happen now. Shame. However, it may happen later, but I don't think so. State Control by a power mad Prime Minister will continue ad infinitum. Otherwise, everything's fine thanks! :o)
