People love being controlled by the govt. Everyone I see interviewed in the High St on the TV News is always in favour of the govt measures. "We've put it with it for 15 months. Another month won't make any difference". That's what they all seem to say. What about another? And another? And another? Can't be too careful! :o)

If the government has to extend the lockdown again, it will be because of a change in circumstances that are unknown at this time.
This situation is unprecedented, no-one can see into the future, and no-one is going to hold the government in general, or Boris in particular, responsible for not being able to foresee changing situations.
Boris's 'neck' is quite safe.
You really need to stop twisting simple situations and facts into some doom-laden scenario that ends with Boris Johnson losing his job.
Just because you wish it with every fibre of your being does not mean that shoehorning your fantasies into imagined scenarios is ever going to make it happen.
