Boris is standing by Hancock, and refuses to sack him after breaking Covid rules and a few others. Is it now time for the two of them to go. It's one rule for the Cons and another rule for the Public... enough is enough ..... They should both GO.

At this time in politics the torys are Teflon coated. There is NO suitable opposition in parliament. The torys know this. So they can break the rules, as they wish because there are enough brainwashed muppets around to vote for them. Remember America voted Trump in . England voted Boris . Get vaccinated and hope for a better future.

Davebro: how do you know //"& no one else is considered capable".//?? were you a fly on the wall in all the enclave meetings of the internal party machine. Can you find me a single quote declaring that either TM or BJ were considered the "least worst" options by anyone in the party? Nope thought not it's just your own opinion.
Many things on here are opinion, Tora, banning diesel cars for one.

Don't bray.

Boris is no real leader, he is just playing out his School boy Fantasy."I want to be King of England when I grow up" he told his sister when he was a 1O year old.
........... Let's hope he never grows up........

Gulliver, Why do you swerve questions put to you please?
Michael Gove might be a smarmy git but he’s a competent smarmy git. He had Johnson’s number alright
If Johnson was indeed the best man for the job the last few years, I despair of the choices we have on offer.
//I’ve rarely read such thoughtless bilge as has been posted here. With Brexit and the pandemic Boris has seen us through the most trying years since the second World War - and okay - he’s made mistakes - but what do you want? //

REally? Seems to be many putting morem thought in to it rather than just towing the party line as you seem to.

Covod has nothing to do with what Hancock has done other than he broke the rules he expected everyone else to abide by.

What do I want? Open and transparent. That is what he (Johnson) said so deliver it.

//If Johnson was indeed the best man for the job the last few years, I despair of the choices we have on offer.//

That does seem to be a problem in many countries. Look at the US as a prime example.

It really is a shame labour cant get its act together. I strongly believe a good Government is made by a strong opposition.

no - yes !
Another one who is saying " mmmmm jjjjaaw -- mmooooo".

as this is a family site discussing impt qq in a mature fashion
I will not express what that stream of letter above represents
// There is NO suitable opposition in parliament.//
nope
we look at history and observe: the credible opposition comes from inside the ruling party

(at least it shows I READ the post before adding comment - unlike SOME on this site)
Yes, really, MFB. You’re all complaining but not one of you has offered a viable alternative - in fact none of you have offered any sort of alternative. How easy it is to sit in front of a screen and pontificate on how the country should be run, I wouldn’t have his job for anything - and doubtless neither would any of you. I really would like to see people supporting their own government and their own country, but as far as I can tell it’s a futile wish.
I agree Naomi. People should be supporting their country and government and indeed the PM. Why do they not ?
Don't ask me, anneasquith. Ask them.
