There's no double standards here, just that only one of the people involved in this affair was breaking the distancing regulations he expected everyone else to adhere to.

Martin, for me their affair is not the concern.
It's his behaviour and hypocrisy that has shown me he is not to be trusted and now is a time when we need to have people we can trust in charge.
Others have made huge sacrifices during this pandemic. Discovering this type of behaviour from someone who is supposed to be doing his very best (yes, I know in unprecedented circumstances) and failing so sleazily is damaging for the country and for the efforts to get on top of the virus.
