'Wager' away - but if you don;t know, and you don't, then that puts you firmly in the same camp as Naomi - offering your ignorant prejudices under an imagined sheen of 'information'.
That would make you similar in your outlook - who would have thought it?
Perhaps when you consider that thought, you might like to reconsider - I would if I were you, which fortunately, I'm not.
Y chromosome = male, no amount of dressing up, drugs and surgery can change that. Sex cannot be changed. I am offering no prejudices just biological facts.
"Perhaps when you consider that thought, you might like to reconsider - I would if I were you, which fortunately, I'm not. " - now who's being ignorant?
andy - stop being beastly to Naomi, you - er beast !
I love her crushing one liners like "how you meet people like Madonna den [foo]?" - and er
I think the transgenders have hormone levels measured ( sort of "no testosterone" stuff)

That is a fact.
But that's not what you offered.
You 'wagered' the existence of a chromosome, that's a bet, not a fact.
Offer it as a 'wager' and you get called out, offer it as a fact, with some evidence, and that's absolutely fine.

You are absolutely right, I allowed my annoyance with naomi to let me get carried away.
My comment was uncalled for, I would wish to withdraw it and offer a sincere apology.
If it walks like a bloke, talks like a bloke, looks like a bloke, chances are it’s a bloke. I knew a bloke that loved to wear women’s clothing, he was still a bloke. this trans nonsense and identifying as rubbish is indicative of a broken and confused society.

The fundamental and important difference between a transvestite and a transsexual has been explained previously - do check the dictionary or Google since you clearly do not know what that difference is.
AH. Wind your neck in. I do know the difference between a transsexual and a transvestite. As I said, a confused and broken society. I also own the full set of The Oxford English Dictionary.

Your post implies otherwise I would suggest - otherwise why bring in reference to your transvestite friend, when that is irrelevant to the discussion.
Good, but what will the Olympics look like in 20 years I wonder. Transgenders routinely winning women's events, but strangely enough not men's probably.
Ironically Dave, I've also been friends for many years with a cross-dressing man. His friend accept that he has two separate identities identities, and treat him as either male or female as appropriate. It's respectful, and what friends do.
