Being a 'nobody' is a status accorded to almost everyone - no problem there.

But if you are a nobody and your put yourself on a pedastal by assuming that you can re-arrange culturel refereces because you have decided that they are inappropriate, and you use words like 'cancel' as though you are a high-level officer in the Thought Police, then you deserve the derision and hostility that is going to accompany your stupidity in advising your thoughts to the disinterested world at large.

Be a 'blogger' by all means, and self-aggrandaise yourself to a level of undeserved self-importance simply by utlising the technology available to anyone with a comnputer, to put your unrequested and probably irrelavent nonsense out into the wider world.

But be preprared for the rest of the world, using the same technology and access to voice its thoughts - to tell you that you are an idiot, and to wind your neck in.

Not really, we do agree on some subjects - that Greta Thunburg is a damaged exploited individual is one for example.

It's not that this lady doesn't agree with my opinion that irks me jno, it's that she is arrogant enough to make a negative cultural connection that doesn't exist beyond her own fevered imagination, and then suggest that the world should adapt its language to suit her.

We probably accord too much space to these people.
As I said at the start the original point as quoted is reasonable. But it seems to have got out of hand. The language stuff would appear to be the height of nonsense and it’s just gone from bad to worse.
