London Shooting
Seems very easy to get hold of firearms these days. Where do they come from?
Three women and a man were shot in Camden on Saturday night.
Police were called to Clarence Gardens near Regent’s Park at around 10.10pm after residents heard gunfire.
Firearms officers and paramedics attended the scene.
Two women were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds. A man and women later took themselves to hospital with similar injuries.

Also, if criminals can get truck loads of people in the country illegally, it is hardly going to be that hard to get a small hand gun which can be disassembled in to about 30 parts is it?

I suppose you just go into the boozer and say to the barman you're looking for a specialist hand equipment .
Order your pint , sit at the table at the back and sip it slowly .
By the time you leave you will be met on the pavement outside bybs geezer asking if you were the bloke inside enquiring about 'places of interest' in the pub

I was bought up in a pub. Most of the clientele were law abiding but there were a few dodgy caricatures. I also work for a security firm....I know dodgy people. I also have a massive family who also know dodgy people.
And to make it clear I have no desire to own a gun or hate someone enough to want to shoot them.

Not quite correct.
Whilst both offences carry a maximum sentence of Life imprisonment, the very lowest sentencing range for dealing in prohibited firearms has a starting point of six years custody, with a range of three to eight years. It is an indictable only offence meaning it can only be dealt with in the Crown Court. Sentencing guidelines are here:

By contrast, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, at its least serious, has a starting point of eighteen months custody, with a suggested range of a high level community Community Order to three years custody. It is an "either way" offence meaning it can be dealt with either in the Crown Court or the Magistrates' Court. Sentencing guidelines are here:

In short, if a first time offender pleading guilty, is convicted of supplying a small amount of heroin to somebody and there are no aggravating factors, he can look forward to a bit of unpaid work, a curfew order, or a few appointments with his probation officer. If he supplies one gun to somebody he can look forward to a three year prison sentence.
