Brexit Lie Hits Record Level.
Remember the claim by Brexiteers that UK would be "swamped with immigrants" if EU membership continued.
Well, Brexit seems to be increasingly active in this respect. But of course we Remainers always knew the Brexiteers were lying - unfortunately many of the great unwashed were taken in by the pernicious propaganda.

I notice you rarely read links, so I will tell you what this one says
// The Home Office said French boats prevented 193 people in 10 boats from reaching Britain. A deal agreed between London and Paris last month will see France double the number of police patrolling its beaches. //
Try reading the links in future, and that might stop you writing stuff that makes you look foolish.

//perhaps if we made more of an effort to keep them out in the first place.//
How do you suggest we do that? International Maritime Law places an obligation to rescue people in danger on the sea. This article explains it fully:

It explains all the various conventions to which the UK is party. To save you reading it all, the bottom line says this:
“Non-assistance to refugees and migrants at sea is not a legal option.”
So unless and until the UK withdraws from these conventions they cannot be prevented from arriving here, whatever Ms Patel espouses. The secret lies in returning them whence they came.
//He'll never understand Brexit.//
He (Gulliver1) understands it perfectly. The secret is not to engage with anything he posts.

Besides being hamstrung by "protocols" and "laws" passed to actually facilitate illegal immigration, we are being betrayed by the 5th column civil serpents. In Kabul, a poor at risk "helper" (did you know that there were 100s of thousands of them) was allowed to board a flight out to Britain. In mid air it was established that this at risk dahling was a recognised terrorist and that he was on a list of barred from flight individuals. Whilst airborne it was rapidly ascertained that he was now cured of his murderous tendencies , then declared safe and acceptable. On landing he was presumably released into the community. Other Afghans are being allowed to board minus passports and I.D. As for the illegals crossing the channel ... they are presented to the public as vulnerable, disenfranchised victims of conflict with no other option. Apart from that obvious lie, they are either paying the thick end of £10k to people smugglers for a place on a dingy, or making the journey on a promise to pay it back to whoever financed them. Arms and drug smuggling being options, or defraud our benefits system if a safer method is preferred. Meanwhile we have a "report" released by Migration Watch that is warning "Mass migration to the United Kingdom has resulted in huge demographic shifts which could lead to a breakdown in social cohesion." .... Who knew?
Where is Canary? 70 odd posts and he hasn’t returned, although I see he has managed to galvanise his idiot in arms Gulliver.
I voted remain and he’s not speaking for me - I don’t think people who voted Brexit lied. I think people voted Brexit for the same reason I voted remain - because it’s what we felt was the best for the country. I lost, I got over it, and I moved on.
