No, but its time to get some sensible judges and sentencing needs to be updated with ALL crimes carrying a minimum sentence.

No, whilst I would like a return to capitol punishment it should never be done as a knee jerk reaction.

I agree with TTT, life should mean life, and full sentences should be served. Yesterday a man pleaded guilty to the rape and murder of an elderly woman after he broke into her home. This poor woman would be alive today had the man served the full sentence for a previous rape of an elderly woman.

Terrorist should be PTS. Hanging is ridiculous these days. They should be PTS because of the potential they have to radicalise others while in Prison. The argument against is perhaps because they would become martyrs and encourage others to 'die for the cause'. That can be easily resolved by denying them a religious funeral, which for them would be a fist-class ticket to Hell (in their beliefs).
