Who Wants Masks?
Boris announced yesterday that masks are to be made compulsory again in shops. In the summer he said that there would be no going back on the relaxation of measures. Face masks are a complete waste of time given the way that most people wear them so how many will join me in this little bit of civil disobedience and refuse to wear them?

I agree that a lot of wearers could do better, but if you're so concerned about the way people are wearing them, why don't you instruct them on the proper way. Good luck with that! I cannot see how encouraging others to not wear them can help in any way. That kind of 'disobedience' is, in my opinion, lacking in common sense, petulant and potentially dangerous.
We have to wear masks in all indoor public spaces. Very polite security guards offer you one if you don't have them! Those that cause problems are overseas visitors. From Jan 2 to 10 schools will be closed as will all pubs bars discos etc. Working from home will be reinstated. Self testing is recommended if you are getting together with non everyday contact
If those who, like me, aren't wearing masks since July 19th continue not to wear masks, Boris may get the point that people are more than p****d off with his U-turns and messing with people's lives. I remember months ago on this forum Naomi was complaining about namby-pamby interference with normal life.

I don't think I've ever said that. I've certainly said that we must get on with life, but 'namby-pamby'? No. I've always said I'll do as I'm asked - and I do.
So what do you hope to achieve, diddly?
