With reference to the edict to wear masks in shops as from tomorrow I'd like to know what constitutes a "shop". Banks? Building Societies, walkways between 2 streets but covered and with shops on either side, libraries (as they often sell things too) cafés with a counter which sells cakes etc??? Has anyone thought this through?
Banks and Building societies are included in the legislation. The definition of an enclosed space is the one used for the no-smoking legislation. Pubs and restaurants are not included.
Just wear a mask whenever you are in an enclosed space containing other people other than your own house, apartment, condominium, flat, tepee, cave, mud hut, caravan, tree-house, igloo, cell, etc etc...Keep it simple.
I have worked in my shops and rooms, maintenance shop, tool room, press shop etc. Strange thing is that you couldn't buy anything from them ( except for baccy, fags and booze from some shady character's 'special locker' ).
