Covid New Variants / Strains

We are being urged(including a new ad campaign ) to have the covid booster to counter the Omicron variant

It's likely that there will be new variants down the line that will require new vaccines .

So are we destined for a life ,for the foreseeable future of having to have constant jabs ?

Just as an aside did anybody see the news earlier with the bbc on a Covid ward in London ?
Most on there were of the younger than average group and 80 percent were unvaccinated

You mean just like the facts I have asked you for before about vaccine related deaths that you have never furnished these threads with ?

No real need atm because it is obvious from the news what the figures are
All I pointed out was that some end up on a ventilator
That is an undisputed and undeniable fact and has been since day one
Yes the effects of this variant are a touch milder but still present no lesser a threat due to the speed of its transmission

I have never encouraged or discouraged anyone from being vaccinated, not my place to. Neither have I thrown out any statistics about covid or vaccinations. The only information I have is from online somewhere.

Nurse talking to a white bloke/patient puts two fingers into the top of her mask and pulls it away from her face the lets it go.

So what ever she has breathed into that mask is now all over her hands...marvellous.

1st of all, I havnt smoked for years
2nd we all know about the harmful affects of smoking anyway and those that continue to smoke...either through an addiction or an unwillingness to at least try to give up... should not be denied treatment.
Should we deny treatment of obese patients?
Or sport injury patients/
Or Junk food eating patients?

As regards Chemo.
Its not an experimental drug. Its tried and tested.
So Yes, I would accept it.

Its a contentious issue, hope we can all keep a bit levelled headed about it.
