The truth of the matter is that many supermarkets have had their way of working disrupted, nearly all of them work on a just in time basis. The disruption is for many reasons. :0) Its common sense really, lack of goods, late goods ( fresh foods) profit loss. I went into Sainsburys on Friday, they had rows of empty freezers, very basic goods peas, frozen chips. Some may say well my Sainsburys was full, well all that depends on how far the goods have to travel to you local shop. All in all Sainsburys is one business and the profit margin affects every store and price, full or part empty.
