// I walked to my local Lidls on Friday about 5pm to grab a few bits after working all day, and I don’t know about everywhere else but there were definitely lots of empty shelves, //
we get that here too, thursday evenings are usually the worst. it's because none of the supermarkets have much storage space, their store is the truck delivering the goods, on a "just in time" basis. when traffic is heavy it means the "store" is late arriving and the result is empty shelves. in extreme cases (following an accident, usually) the shop becomes out of range of the delivery depot and they get no supplies at all. the logistics system in this country was set out when there was less traffic on the roads and now needs a thorough overhaul.

Gully - we ALL agree with you. Brexit is ruining the country - it was a terrible mistake and we are truly sorry we voted for it.
The Tories are awful and Boris is a liar and a thoroughly bad man - we are sorry we voted for them.
We will regret these poor decisions as long as we live the rest of our impoverished lives plagued by bad government.
NOW - WILL YOU PLEASE FORK OFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
