For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.lankeela, no, it's entirely down to whether the Aussies will let him in under their own rules. They don't care what you did in Serbia, Northpolia or wherever, they set the rules for entering Australia. It's the various Australian authorities who are divided over this. Tennis Australia, the federal government, the Victoria government, border control and the courts.
Friend posted this on her FB page today and has had lots of support for her thoughts. I'll just leave it here..............
I sincerely hope that all other competitors now refuse to play against the man who couldn’t comply with entry regulations that everyone else managed to comply with.
I look forward to him walking off when the Aussie crowds show what they think of him.
People refused entry to be with loved ones but because they didn’t have a multimillion £ legal team?
And how will the oz tennis authorities ensure the safety of the other players and staff?

What everyone seems to have failed to appreciate is that the Judge ruled in his favour on a very narrow and technical issue - regarding the time which he should have had (and was promised) to respond to the potential cancellation of his visa.
The Border Force screwed up, by rushing through the cancellation with undue (and possibly illegal) haste.
Thus the Judge rescinded the cancellation.
Once the Government lawyers saw which way the Judge was heading, they just tossed in the towel - without revealing any of their arguments for cancellation of the visa.
This means that (if he is so minded) the Minister for Immigration can use those arguments as part of a justification for using his executive powers to cancel the visa and expel Djokovic - without having given either the Judge or Djokovic's lawyers any advance warning of his reasoning.
I hope/expect that the Australian Government is looking very closely at the (very convenient) PCR Test on Dec 16th and Djokovic's total disregard for the positive result.
In his behaviour on 16th/17th/18th December he showed no signs of illness (so why did he get the test?) and (in the case that it was a genuine positive result) made no attempt to isolate or protect other people.

face it, everyone wants him to suffer because they are suffering with these ridiculous rules, why be angry at novak though? its been two years and the crowd would rather turn on each other than the government who while creating these rules, make sure they are themselves exempted from having to follow the rules. I can actually see how Hitler psychologically manipulated the masses now.
That is how judgements are nornally made: you find something - be it a loophole or whatever, that can be used to overturn a case. Often quickly.
Who knows what might arise subsequently. I don't understand why they can't check his positive test - does he not have one?
If so it ought to be good enough, if not then he has no case.

But the website seems to have now been amended so that it comes up positive :

After the war - Serbia went on being slapped about - The Serbian Oerthodox Church was underground. "we prayed in houses. they would arrest us if they found us. concentration camps poof! Obviously there were infiltrators and communists who would betray the Christians."
so the Serbs have form

(*) The Chetniks, formally the Chetnik Detachments of the Yugoslav Army, and also the Yugoslav Army in the Homeland and the Ravna Gora Movement, was a Yugoslav royalist and Serbian nationalist movement and guerrilla force in Axis-occupied Yugoslavia.

oh god they had barlz
on liberation ( from POW camp April 1945) - My father wrote 1973
"There were still some 88mm on the hill behind the camp and every now and then they fired into the camp. There were more casulaties and the trubulent Nick came and complained. "Tell your American friends that if they cant deal with that gun, all they have to do is to let us have some ammo for some of those old German rifles and we Serbs will deal with it in half an hour. Eventually it was silenced."
(Note French and Serbs still in POW camps years after their own wars and campaigns had ended ( in their defeat) )

As Pam Shriver just said on the bbc he still has a lot of questions to answer as a lot of his story is not adding up
He should have just gone earlier and completed quarantine if he was so keen on playing whilst unvaccinated
Must admit I am curious to see what reception he gets from the Australian crowds
