don't think he will get a good reception from the crowd
He still hasn't got permission to play in the Australian Open and he may still be deported.
//But Immigration Minister Alex Hawke could still cancel his visa on new grounds.//
It seems he might have just been arrested according to R4 !
Interesting, the law finds in his favour but then the Government decide some other tack.

Now sounding like an hysterical witch-hunt.

//don't think he will get a good reception from the crowd//

Why, because he complied with the rules given (as corroborated by the Judge) ? I guess you are a fan of mob rule then?
young : because "Bruce " on the streets of Australia has to comply with the strict rules imposed by the government ....
^^and there still remains doubt about Mr D and his compliance
This is hardly surprising news.
I couldn’t really see how there was a case for keeping him.
I’m sure it isn’t the end of the story.
As I’ve said before this controversy or one like it was bound to happen eventually. Djokovic’s views to me seem idiotic but equally I’m afraid I don’t have much time for the approach taken by the Australian government

I think I’m thinking the same way..
can’t stop him for that, how else can we stop him…. He seems to have done nothing wrong.
Hopefully he gets to play, hopefully he wins the tournament.

Says he tested positive on 16th December handing out prizes to children the following day, something's not quite right.
methinks "recollections may vary " Margo ? lol
a quick antibody test would confirm his story !
i did hear on the news that he had tested positive for covid on 16th December, why wasn't he quarantining afterwards
Testing positive is a reason for not getting vaccinated anyway.
Apparently they took advantage of the 6 months rule to claim and get the exemption in the first place
If England cricketer’s,presumably all vaccinated, had to live in various forms of isolation to enable the Ashes to take place, then how can one tennis player override the system.Steg, let’s hope he doesn’t play but if he does he definitely doesn’t win the tournament.
ich I rather think there is doubt around that very fact given he has been out and about mixing and mingling at a time he claims he was ill ??
Did he not self isolate after testing positive if he did test positive?
Even if he didn’t the self isolation period is surely up long since.
I’m just trying to see the wood here :-)
^^ nope he was out presenting prizes to children at a tournament the day after he was supposed to be sick !
I think any attempts to be economical with the truth and circumnavigate the strict protocol in place is the issue Ich
Does he claim he was ill?
Or just tested positive?
Bearing in mind that’s nearly four weeks ago and presumably the issue is that he isn’t vaccinated, not what he was doing a few weeks back.
It’s not hard, like I say, to see why his legal challenge was successful.
he was featured on the news ichkeria, the very next day, so that would be the 17th December....
