I, personally, think Rishi Sunak would be awful as prime minister. He seems to be working to his own agenda and I think he would reintroduce austerity measures far worse than Cameron and Osborne had in place. Liz Truss, if what I read somewhere is true, seems to be on the verge of ceding to the EU the ECJ disagreement over NI. Boris Johnson didn't take us out of the EU, we are still bound to a large extent by their rules, their laws and still paying them large amounts of money. He lost interest in getting us out once he became PM.

I know you dont think oppositions should help to push a Government, but I do. They were elected by people to represent them and that includes holding the Government to account not just sitting back and letting them get away with it.

It is not the job of oppositions to get rid of prime ministers. This is a parliamentary democracy, so it's up to the voter. Alternatively, his own party may remove him from the leadership when they think he's become an electoral liability; but that will be done out of self-interest, not the interests of the nation.

To be honest, I'm surprised he's still hanging on ! When I think back to all the rules and regulations of lockdown, it makes my blood boil. People not being allowed to attend the funerals of their loved ones rankles the most, how awful, for them now to be reading this ! It seems he was laughing at us all when standing up on TV behind his little podium telling us what we can and cannot do, knowing he would be breaking all the rules if it suits ! Personally, I can't stand any of the others, especially Gove, he reminds me of one of Hitler's henchmen !!! Oh Boris, what HAVE you done .... ??
