I’m surprised nothing more has been said about this

On the lunchtime news, a conservative association chairman said the media's steady drip-drip was damaging Boris and the Tories. He was blaming the media for Bozo's problems. Johnson must know whether he was at any of these parties or received invites to those he didn't attend. Isn't there an appointments book or his personal diary? The furore could be...

I wish gullible would change his tune its getting so old.
Apparently, just over an hour after he had stood at that podium, over 100 invites went out. It is estimated that between 40 and 50 people accepted the invites at a time when gatherings in a public place of more than 2 people were not allowed. This was unless the people were all members of the same household or the gathering was essential for work purposes. Not hosting a garden party in order to take advantage of the lovely weather!
I thought you resided in Ireland,Ken4155.Surely British politics and shenanigans shouldnt bother you to much.
How long do you think Burnley-by-the-canal has been in Ireland?
As long as you thought West Bromwich was in Ireland!
Eh?
Still waiting for an apology regarding the Phil Lynott thread.
“Answer removed” Or rather it would me if a posted what I think of BoJo.
What an absolute crapshow! I've never really taken to Boris even though I'm a Tory supporter and this just about confirms what I've always thought of him as.....a bumbling baffoon! Yes, he should go and Rushi Sunak would be a good candidate to take over.
There are three things you can be sure of in life: death, taxes and … what was the other?
Oh yes: this prime minister will never, ever resign. Unless it got to the point where he was about to be pushed.
Or there was one really serious thing far bigger than all the other, constant, smaller things that remind us just what a devious, unprincipled and dishonest character he is.
He’s not going to resign for being himself, is he.
Politics is a dirty business these days. If you express your truly felt values you are dismissed as an extremist This opens the way for liars and dissemblers who don't change once elected. Boris' government is a shambles - no leadership & no challenge to the leader. But will the next be any better? Hence (in part) my determination to refrain from ever voting again.
That's good news davebro!
If your truly-expressed views are considered extremist! Apart from voting, are you prepared to express them here?

Then Davebro you relinquish the right to complain about who’s in power when you don’t vote
//That's good news davebro!//

And one which I expressed at least 2 years ago given our current voting system.
whichever way I vote I get a Tory - can I not therefore complain!
dave, the thing about voting is that it's not your vote that decides the next government. If your side doesn't win, then you are only helping your enemies if you go off in a huff and refuse to vote again. Refusing to vote is what your enemies want.
I don't really think I have a "side" or "enemies". If I voted I would probably vote Tory just adding 1 to a 5000+ majority. How is the significant?
dave... good news indeed! we need more tory voters like you. Are you prepared to tell us why you would be considered an extremist if you were to be honest about your views?
