The latest plan, supported by Ben Wallace (but not fully explained I think) is that surrounding NATO countries such as Poland, give as a gift their aging MIG fighters to Ukraine and are given more modern aircraft in return, which sounds like neat way to strengthen Ukraine's air power without NATO actually entering Ukraine air space.

Sounds like a good idea?
NAOMI, you are (apparently) aware of the Site Rules and object anytime I post extracts from them but a reminder,

"Any posts asking or discussing why a post or thread was removed or ***closed***,[emphasis added] or why a member was banned or suspended, will be removed."

It appears the links to the, "numbered" threads have been added by the EDs since the full links have not been used.

I am pretty sure that's been done recently so it is also likely they are aware of the closures.

If you're not happy still and not done so already, take it up with the EDs.

"Sounds like a good idea? "

It does to me.
Better than a no-fly zome for now
It would also be good if the ridiculous bickering about the closed threads stopped.
I agree with the useless bickering comment.

Alas, it will probably continue.
Detecting signs of battle fatigue here.
Keep the thread on topic please.

That's due at 5 o'clock.

It seems that it’s a tactic of the Russians to billet their occupying forces next to civilians.
No wonder they don’t seem to want them to leave.
It is also reported that Russia has now deployed its entire original invasion force within the borders of Ukraine
Headline in The Telegraph today;

'Russian aircraft losses in Ukraine ‘unsustainable for more than a fortnight’
Verified images show 11 planes, 11 helicopters and two drones have been shot down since invasion began, including nine at the weekend.'

When will the penny (rouble) drop for Vlad?
When he decides enough is enough I sincerely hope it is just a rouble that drops, khandro.
Naomi //When he decides enough is enough //
I don't think that day will ever come.Megalomaniacs don't tend to admit that they are defeatable.

Until they have to, danny. Even Hitler ended up shooting himself so there's hope for Putin yet!
Maybe like this danny?

Khandro, sorry can't make head nor tail of that.
It's this,

It's the bomb dropping from Dr. Strangelove
Ah!, thanks for that Corby.
She’ll have just announced they’re closing petrol stations in Russia. Every little helps.
Shell (of course)
Thanks Corby
