So the Tory whips will be making sure Rodders gets an FPN after stupidly putting his future into the hands of the Police. They won't need much help, Labour always shaft the old bill when they get a chance anyway but a bauble duly dangled will make sure. What a load of amateurs Labour are, fancy putting yourself in that position.

boris wouldn't want him to go, he's too helpful to the tory party
Maybe he had had enough with the endless media coverage of Partygate and all related nonsense.

I can't understand why anyone would want to be a politician, its a thankless job. Whatever you do has half the country baying for your blood.

Bring back Maggie, the only PM who had any balls.
Is this a news story?
Which senior rank of the constabulary are you referring to?
A link might be useful, I’m genuinely intrigued as to who the top cop is.
do we really have three Kier Starmer threads - er bubbling away
Like the days of Brexit

non sequiturs abound = well this IS AB !

Labour always shaft the old bill when they get a chance anyway but a bauble duly dangled will make sure. = labour shaft the Police and promising the other side amedal ( the police that is!) will promote the prospect
yeah - righto! - TTT keep em coming!

Exhuming the body of an elderly lady would be an ugly undertaking, no pun intended.
Unless you have the power to raise the dead I fear you may be waiting for some time, somewhere in the region of eternity.
I dont understand what was going through Sir Kiers mind. Did he really think no one would look at him and labour?

What really puzzles me is there is so much labour could be holding the Tories to account for, but they go for cake. Bizarre.
The Good Lady was of her time, as was Bliar.

Neither would be suitable for todays problems and issues.
Your party of law and order (chuckles) is going to bribe a police officer to see off a rival?

Dark days ahead if your dream comes true.
"Neither would be suitable for todays problems and issues."

For all of their faults they at least gave the impression of having a work ethic. That alone would be a start.
Well yes, I'll give you that. But I think you know what I mean.
I think it's a clever move. The police won't issue an FPN now, because of the consequences.

It will then be easier for Sir K to fling the mud when Boris gets more fines.
//The police won't issue an FPN now, because of the consequences.//

If they dont then they will have to justify why not, and if they cant then someone's head will roll.

Depends on whether someone senior in the Old Bill is willing to fall on their sword to save Sir Kier. My guess is not.

Sir Kier should have known better, effectively he is attempting to pervert the course of Justice.
ps, you know they even let girls be int he police now too?
Is there a link in the offing to this seismic and positively groundbreaking news story?
I’m genuinely on tenterhooks as to who the senior figure of constabulary is.
I reasoned that it could be male or female but the thread originator has indicated a male.
Who is he then?
Having scoured all the mainstream media sources I can find no such reference to this sensational breaking news story.
Maybe this belongs in the Chattebank or Scams section as there doesn’t appear to be one for Fiction, Fantasy or Supposition?

Do you have a link to this so we all know exactly what you're on about?

Good luck with that, THECORBYLOON.
Maybe ToraToraTora only responds to senior members of the Answerbank, heaven knows I’ve asked often enough after his thread starter?
It is you, LeClerc!
