They won't need much help, Labour always shaft the old bill when they get a chance anyway but a bauble duly dangled will make sure. Maybe he had had enough with the endless media coverage of Partygate and all related nonsense.
I can't understand why anyone would want to be a politician, its a thankless job. Whatever you do has half the country baying for your blood.
Bring back Maggie, the only PM who had any balls.
