Yet again the UK is expected to struggle - if not actually be in last place - in the Eurovision Song Contest, regardless of the quality of our entry. This is apparently representative of a hatred of Britain by other countries. But why? Plenty of people from disadvantaged nations risk their lives to try and get into Britain. I can’t think of a more tolerant place on the planet. Unlike Russia, we are not in the least aggressive or tyrannical. The decision to leave the EU was one we were entitled to make, and other members came do the same if they wish. I could go on. But what in your opinion is behind anti-British feeling?
I did say on another thread, earlier in the week, that perhaps the UK's staunch support of Ukraine in their hour of need would lessen any antagonism towards us from other countries and that our entry could do very well.
