Gale - 148 is severely damaging to his reputation
No - the person who has done in his reputation ( the press, i can hear Naomi trill) is Boris himself
Gale: this is not an orchestrated campaign - I ( says Liar Gale) will go on saying what I believe
an amazing level of truth and soul searching by a Tory sheep

Yes they are.
I mean, they don’t care about our internal politics - why would they - and not for them the comparisons with Theresa May’s 133 votes etc
That doesn’t of course mean our internal politics doesn’t matter.
Another Ukrainian hero, Kaja Kallas of Estonia is also in trouble albeit of different kind (no not THAT! ;-) ). She was in London yesterday

In 2018 after a confidence vote, JRM said “This is a very bad result for the Prime Minister, 117 of her back bench colleagues have voted against her, that is a third of the parliamentary party”.
She subsequently went on to lose several votes before realising it was in everyone’s interests to resign.
Fast forward to today and JRM said prior to the vote that a win even by 1 vote counts as a victory.
He’s obviously ignored the 148 today but Johnson had better get used to losing votes like May did, notwithstanding the 2 by elections and standards inquiry.
At what point will his party actually step in?

The men in grey suits are ruthless.
Boris needs to win the 2 by-elections and he won’t.
Then the Privileges committee report will be damning.
The summer recess might come to Johnson’s aid, but a leadership challenge in the Autumn is on the cards.
If he survives all that, they should bring water to the next Downing Street party, and he will magically make it into wine.
