Boris to win, with a small majority.

Stick to Chatterbank, Sandra.
I think you could certainly do with a four day break away from AB, naomi. FatticusInch seems to have got to you today. :)
:o/
The notion that there is no one in the Tory party who would be better or could be PM is absurd.

The thing is, until hats are thrown in we wont even know the choice. Personally I dont think Hunt stands a chance, neither does Tugithard, with the members.
Name one, better still name one that would stand.
Without analysing them I wouldnt know, and I really cant be bothered to do that especially as they may not even get 'picked' by the other MP's.

All I am saying is that out of 300 odd people law of averages says there must be at least one other.
// Yes, the Longest Day too, how apt.//
ayyyyeeee - - it will be the longest day for Baris!
he's doooomed ! ( say portentously in a scots accent)

self proclaimed supposedly intelligent people can say the dumbest things - but hey this is AB !

Hey Naomi, stick to what you know about _ [that'll shut her up] haw haw haw
Tonight’s vote is unlikely to solve anything. Boris will win, but the scale of the malcontents will expose the leader to more criticism. He’ll be gone before the General election.
If Boris does win and the Tory MPs allow him to continue as PM, this will embolden him to believe he can do anything (lie at will, and break the ministerial code as it pleases him).

But the British public will not be so forgiving for such behaviour – if he is PM at the next general election, the Tories are toast.

Agreed. The idea that, if Boris was to have a heart attack tomorrow, nobody could take his place does not bear any scrutiny. Fortunately.

Naomi24 is doing her bit for Boris, but where’s TTT – has he at last seen that the end of Boris is nigh?
He's been on a couple of threads this afternoon but he's avoiding vote-related threads to-day.

Better to avoid being eviscerated after all the offers of bets made and defending the indefensible whilst proclaiming that Johnson will win the next general election as the sitting PM.
Luckily, humble pie is not fattening.
I’m just waiting to see how many of the Tory parliamentary party turn out to be nasty, pinko, lefty 5Cers with no sense of blind loyalty.
It’ll be most enlightening.
If it was not for the fact that it was a secret vote, all the traitors would be in TTT’s ‘book of ***’.
It appears that the word for illegitimate children is not permitted on AB – must buy myself a dictionary approved by AB.

Purely for interest, the Ukrainian “real war” Telegram channel is reporting that Johnson has won:
This probably premature (but who knows) bulletin has received 3,500 approvals to 70 dislikes ;-)

“Boris Johnson remains British Prime Minister ❗️

This means that Ukraine will soon receive the British MLRS

Real War

Some misunderstanding there I think …
I don’t doubt he’s won.
Politically he has survived this, numerically he’ll be fatally wounded.
He'll win of course. Somehow I have a feeling that the usual 'fatally weakened' bit may not apply - we'll see.
