The average price in Florida, ie Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami is 79p per litre, which is roughly £3.30 per gallon, half the price I paid when I filled up yesterday for £1.74 per litre which works out at £7.83 per gallon. If this is a global oil crisis, why the massive difference?

Yes prices are highball over europe... many more expensive than the UK... but Americans pay alot less and are horrified at Europe prices. There definitely cheaper mainly due to tax and maybe dallas oil fields but a small factor is a us gallon is less than a uk gallon
