//Where are the reporters outside the polling stations and talk of exit polls?//
Lol, give them a chance.
Don’t you know there’s a strike on? Polling Stations don’t close until 22.00.
Most will probably go at the end of the working day I’d imagine, you’ll get your eagerly awaited results soon enough.

//That report was from two days ago!//
And? You didn’t sound too well informed and were asking about exit polls etc, just thought I’d give you a heads up about projected figures whilst you await the result.
Since you know they are happening and it's more than likely the affected constituents know, what benefit is there in the BBC repeatedly reporting that fact?
Rubbish at all previous elections or by-elections they have had almost continuous reporting during the day - there's not even been a photo of a dog outside a polling station! Maybe they don't want to admit they think Boris might just surprise people and get more support than they would like.
I really don't think so lankeela.
Apart from anything else, how dull would that be at a possibly low turnout by election?
"And here comes a lady now. She looks like she's going to vote Tory.
Maybe not..
And there she goes, off home to possibly make the tea.
No idea who she voted for.
All quiet now, so we'll hand you back to the studio.
Wake me in half an hour"
